These notices explain the scope of website content, product verification and privacy handling.
Medical information
Website content is provided for general product-information purposes and does not replace advice, diagnosis, treatment or monitoring by a qualified healthcare professional. Prescription medicines must be used only as lawfully prescribed and supplied in the relevant market.
Product availability and authorization
Product names, presentations, indications, authorization status and availability may differ by country. No page should be interpreted as an offer to sell, supply or advertise a medicine where doing so is restricted or unlawful.
Verification service
The verification service checks whether the submitted series and code combination exists in the Vertex Pharm database and reports its status and previous check count. A successful digital result does not replace physical inspection, authorized sourcing or professional judgment.
Privacy and data collection
Verification attempts may store the submitted series and code identifiers, verification result, timestamp, limited browser information and a salted one-way hash of the network address for fraud prevention, abuse detection, product-protection reviews and service security. Raw network addresses are not intentionally retained by the application database, although infrastructure logs may process them for security and operations.
Cookies, browser storage and administration
The public website does not use analytics or advertising cookies in this release. It may use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to operate the site, remember the privacy notice and protect the verification and administration services. The protected administrator interface uses a strictly necessary session cookie. Any future analytics, consent or marketing technology requires a corresponding privacy update.
Intellectual property
Vertex Pharm names, marks, layouts and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners.
