Verification service
The verification service checks whether the submitted series and code combination exists in the Vertex Pharm database and reports its status and previous check count. A successful digital result does not replace physical inspection, authorized sourcing or professional judgment.
Privacy
Verification attempts store the submitted identifiers, result, timestamp, limited browser information and a salted one-way hash of the network address for fraud prevention. Raw network addresses are not intentionally retained by the application database, although infrastructure logs may process them for security and operations.
Cookies and administration
The public website does not require analytics or advertising cookies in this release. The protected administrator interface uses a strictly necessary session cookie. Any future analytics, consent or marketing technology requires a corresponding privacy update.
Intellectual property
Vertex Pharm names, marks, layouts and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners.
